No other university offers such a large School of Life Sciences alongside and interacting with the Schools of Medicine and Dentistry, and the Institute of Veterinary Science, now combined into a single Faculty of Health and Life Sciences. We offer a breadth of coverage in Biology – from Honors programs in Zoology through to a range of degrees in the Biomedical Sciences.

One of the greatest benefits of a career in veterinary medicine, such as a veterinary pathologist, is the chance to promote the health and welfare of your patients. You also have the ability to relieve the suffering of animals that have experienced traumatic injuries or chronic illnesses.
