    • Plan and independently perform geodetic works on state surveys, maintenance of real estate registrations, construction of buildings, valuation, and real estate management
    • Design and independently compose large and small-scale maps and geospatial analysis
    • Independently maintain geospatial databases and geographic information systems
    • Propose the application of recently developed information technologies for the collection, processing, and management of data
    • Differentiate the sources and nature of errors in geodetic measurements or computer data processing and select the method for errors removal
    • Organize teamwork on jobs in the office or field in cases where the task is more complex, has a large volume, or has a long duration
    • Communicate with parties and geodetic and related experts in the interpretation of regulations, standards, and norms, interpretation of results, and prevention of possible misunderstandings
    • Evaluate and plan the professional development of team members in conditions of intensive development of technology and services, legal framework, and professional norms and standards
    • Identify, locate, and use web-based resources for the latest developments in geodesy
    • Pass the national Fundamentals of Surveying examination and maintain a commitment to lifelong learning
    • Recognize the need for the ability to engage in self-directed learning in the field of geomatics through continuing education and at the graduate level
    • Have the necessary educational background and technical skills to perform professionally in all types of surveying, including boundary, route, and construction, mapping, geodesy, photogrammetry, and land/geographic information system
    • Commit to quality, timeliness, and continuous improvement in completing geomatics projects as demonstrated through adherence to established academic and professional standards in their programmatic work
    • Have the ability to measure, collect, conduct testing data accuracy standards, and manage spatially referenced data from different sources into common surveying information and mapping systems
    • Analyze and process geomatics data and produce technically sound maps, reports, and field instructions
    • Have appropriate mastery of knowledge, techniques, skills, and modern tools necessary for geomatics project development, including geodetic control network design using maps and reconnaissance of field area, data acquisition and process, and production of technical reports
    • Work in teams as a member or leader in geomatics fieldwork, data reduction in the lab, and the preparation of boundary survey plans and technical reports
